Unusual Kitbashes

Here are my Special Operations members of my Armed Forces.

Disclaimer -I've plagiarized all of the text below. Thanks to all of the websites (too many to name) that I found said info on! Hey, at least I admit I'm a thief!

U.S. Army Delta Force

Created by U.S. Army Colonel Charles Beckwith in 1977 in response to the growing threat of terrorism, the unit is heavily influenced by the British SAS. Delta commandos have taken part in the Panama and Grenada operations to reportedly rescue various prisoners, and served as body-guards in Operation Desert Storm while later conducting covert missions to destroy Scud missile launchers.

Think of men who excelled in their jobs in the Green Berets or Airborne Rangers and you get the men of Delta Force. Highly secretive, the Army won't even confirm the existence of the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (SFOD-D). They are well-seasoned, well-conditioned renegades who are some of the most experienced, unconventional soldiers in the military. Some reportedly have long hair, often wear civilian clothes and prefer not to look anything like soldiers.

MOUT

MOUT is not a Special Forces team, but rather a type of warfare.  Any of the branches can have MOUT type missions.  Frankly this could have went on the Army page, but  I thought it fit better here.

MOUT (Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain)

The acronym MOUT classifies those military actions planned and conducted on a terrain complex where manmade construction impacts on the tactical options available to commanders. Commanders must treat the elements of urban sprawl as terrain and know how this terrain affects the capabilities of their units and weapons. They must understand the advantages and disadvantages urbanization offers and its effects on tactical operations.

Army, Marine MOUT units & Navy SEALs train for these kinds of missions; including fighting terrorism, combating drug cartels, hostage rescue, etc.
