Dillon

Dillon is CIA, an old friend of Dutch, and the guy who gets Dutch & team into the mission.

I went with the DML Jackson sculpt. Given our limited choices when it comes to African American sculpts, this was the best available choice, in my opinion. Sure, there is the "Will Smith" sculpt by Hot Toys, but I'm not a fan of their bodies. I think "The Worm" made a good Dillon.

As for gear, mostly BBI with some DML. As usual, I tried to add my own touches to the figure. I liked Raider's concealment vest & thought it would be perfect on Dillon. There were some things I didn't like on my version, but had to live with. I don't really like the fit of the DML Nam trousers, but had to stay olive drab to be true to the character. Raider's pants would've looked nicer, but are the wrong color for the jungle. Dillon had a Nam era holster, it looks black in the film. I had to use brown, but no big deal there.

The other thing I'm not crazy about is the 21st C molded hat. The only green cloth hat I have available is woodland, I wanted to stay olive drab. I tried Raider's khaki hat, but the cut of it is awful. Anyway, the hat I used is from the 75th Ranger. I grinded off the insignias, but it left a black blotch. I need to paint over it... or find an olive drab cloth hat.
