Jessie "The Body" Ventura also gave us memorable lines in Predator, like "I ain't got time to bleed!".

I had to do this figure after I did Dutch. I may just have to do the whole team now.

This bash was more interesting to do actually than Arnold's character, Dutch. I'd acquired a Jessie The Governor figure. Ok, instant Blain! Obstacle # 1, the SOTW body is a bit cartoonish. I hated the hands. I didn't see a way to cleanly fit the SOTW head to either a Dragon or BBI body. I thought of using a 21st Century Toys body (21C), but quickly dismissed that option. Being the Fred Sanford (of TV's Sanford & son) of 1:6, I thought up a unique way to incorporate the head onto a BBI 1.0 body. If you're really interested, email me. I wanted to give the figure some bulk, so he's wearing an old Dragon kevlar vest under the BDU blouse.

Pretty much everything is BBI or Dragon, but I decided to go with the 21C Villain Manpack minigun over the offerings from In Toys or BBI. I just added a hardpoint on the bottom of the weapon like Blaine had on his. I also reworked the harness by adding the one from Dragon's MOLLE.

I substituted an H&K MP5KA4 over the MP5-N "Navy" model that Blain & the other characters carried in the film. I also added the vest & loaded it up with ammo clips to add some realism. My figure may not be a total part for part recreation of Blain, but I think I captured the major elements of him.
