Unusual Kitbashes

The bloodiest guy I've done so far!

By all accounts, this guy shouldn't be standing! Talk about a need for medical insurance...

This one started out as most things do, totally by accident. This began as my kitbashed SWAT sniper. He was using the old 21st C uniform & gear. I hate the way the uniform fit on him (baggy), so one day I decided to fatten him up by gluing foam onto his legs, arms, & torso. Padding, as it were. It had mediocre results, but I just left him on display. Some time later, on a boring Sunday afternoon, I decide to do something with the figure, I forget what, & began to remove the uniform & foam ... I dropped it & the leg broke off. So, I was about to scrap it when I got the idea that the areas the foam were glued down on looked like wounds, one thing led to another, & voila!

I initially wanted to do a zombie of some sort, but absentmindedly began to weather a woodland uniform. I just wanted to mention, especially when we have soldier getting killed overseas, that I don't mean this figure to be any sort of disrespect to them or to make light of their sacrifices. It was just an exercise in a new gore technique, like a movie makeup person would do.

"Hey man, are you hit too?"

If you want to try this,  glue on foam appliances, & painted them. I used clear fabric glue, which I also painted. It makes great blood.

I didn't weather this uniform as much as the first one. I boiled the BDUs in tea & shredded them with a razor, that's about all.

He makes a great victim...

or road kill.

He makes a great prisoner, or torture victim...

After killing another set of 21st C BDUs, I decided to use the squinting eye Hawkeye head on another figure. The one above is from a first generation BBI figure.

I like this head for the movable mouth gimmick. Notice the oozing blood from the mouth.

He still can be a zombie of sorts... maybe he came back to kill the enemy?
